Weekly Overview
01.08-14.2025
The astrology of this week is confronting as Chiron kicks up insecurities and self-worth issues, and the Full Moon in Cancer on the 13th intensifies emotions. You can expect to feel a lot and have old patterns rear their heads with new dynamics, but it’s important to remember that you are the commonality in those patterns. Do your best to show up in healthy and honest ways, especially when you’re triggered.

You don’t have all the answers right now; you simply can’t because matters have not fully developed yet. You may find yourself fixated on what you don’t know and what you can’t control this week, but that would be a misuse of your precious energy. Instead of struggling against what you don’t know and investing in worst-case scenarios, show up for the people and things that make you feel happy and whole this week, Aries.

As hard as it is to allow yourself to stay present with vulnerability, this is the time to do it. You may find yourself ruminating over people and situations that have you feeling turned around, but you don’t need analysis as much as you need patience, Taurus. Practice the fine art of being present and showing up as authentically as you can this week; overwhelm, uncertainty, hope, care, and all.
As you sort through some really big changes you have the chance to act in ways that reflect where you’re going or where you’ve been. While it would be easier to act out of fear, insecurity, habit and reflex, this week you have the opportunity to engage with your thoughts, feelings, and circumstances in new ways. You have worked so hard to grow and evolve; now is the time to intentionally show up in new ways, especially when it would be easiest to slip into your old ones, Twin Star.

As Mars has retrograded back into your sign this week, you may be feeling some restlessness and stirrings deep within. This will only be intensified by the fact that there is a Full Moon in your sign on the 13th kicking up big emotions, heartfelt memories, and the opportunity to work through them all, informed by the wisdom you have accrued in recent years. Rise to the occasion with your whole heart, Moonchild.

If you act out of a place of defensiveness, anger, or an egotistical drive to prove your point, even if you do the “right” thing, your actions will be corrupted by your motivations. Take the time to sort through your petty or vengeful feelings so that you don’t center them in your actions. It’s not just important to consider what you do, you must also take responsibility for your reasons for doing it, Leo.
The more that you resist, the more it will persist. This week, you are likely to be struggling to maintain control when you truly have none. Not having control doesn’t mean that you’re on the wrong path or that things are bad. What it does mean is that you need to let go, Virgo. Instead of trying to force matters, including your own emotions, strive instead to cope with whatever emotions are active within you and make good choices.
The Full Moon in Cancer on the 13th is likely to rattle you, and while that’s not any fun, it is right on time. Instead of trying to keep the peace, use this stabilized energy as an opportunity to develop greater clarity and honesty in your life. You don’t need to have your side of the road perfectly clear and clean in order to work with others to cultivate greater understanding and to come together to collaborate on what comes next.
This week, you’re likely to find yourself ready to lay down some roots and invest your time and energy into something that you care about. The trouble with this is that there’s a lot that is outside of your control and not in a clear or stable place. Instead of rushing to create security, strive to cultivate clarity. The more clear you are about who you are in this moment and the things that are important to you, the easier it will be when things emerge, Scorpio.
This week, you’re likely to feel a sense of loss or frustration deep within and it’s pressing you to let go. The question really is: what do you let go of? Is it your attachment to a person or situation? Is it your desire to control things? Is it your fears of the future? As uncomfortable as it may be, tap into your emotions so that you may be honest with yourself and navigate your life with integrity, Sagittarius.

The Full Moon on the 13th in your relationship house is likely to rattle your cage, Capricorn. This is an important time for stepping back from trying to prove yourself—internally or to other people—and to better understand the beliefs you hold that make you feel like you even need to. If you want things to change, then you’ve got to be the change. While you can’t control others or your circumstances, you absolutely can take stock of your own responses and tap into your willingness and ability to do things differently.

The Full Moon on the 13th is an opportunity for you to tap into your emotions, Aquarius. Nurture yourself through both your successes and your troubles. Support people and things that you care about and cultivate the intimacy that you hold dear. Don’t lose energy ruminating on what other people are or aren’t doing; instead, tap into your own motivations, hopes and fears, and make sure that you are acting from your kindest and wisest impulses instead of your strongest ones this week.
The Full Moon in Cancer on the 13th is going to kick up big emotions in you and everyone around you. The rub is that it may not feel like you have the space or time to fully process what comes up. Prioritize carving out space to simply sit with your feelings this week. By doing so, you will be able to navigate your needs and responsibilities with greater ease. Slow down so you can keep up the pace, Pisces.
