Welcome to Ghost of a Podcast. I'm your host, Jessica Lanyadoo. I'm an astrologer, psychic medium, and animal communicator, and I'm going to give you your weekly horoscope and no-bullshit mystical advice for living your very best life.
Welcome back to Ghost of a Podcast. There's so much happening in the world and, if you're like most people, in your inner world and in your personal life. So we're going to talk about a lot of really important astrology this week, but I want to just take a moment to acknowledge how many years we've spent talking about the Pluto Return of the United States.
If you've been with me for enough time, you know that I spent years talking to you about the importance of protecting journalists. And that's, of course, on a social level. On a more personal level, we were discussing the astrological significance of this period of time in which we were meant to really learn how to be media literate, to not just research videos or articles, but check the date it was written, check the resources that are cited—check facts kind of thing.
We also spent a long time talking about the astrology of the need for infrastructure. And of course, that was about roads and social services and all that kind of stuff, but it was also about developing infrastructure in your life, inside of your psyche and your emotional body, so that you have access to the resources that you've built up—that you build up resources that you use, basically.
We've talked about these things for long periods of time, and then at times, we don't talk about it as much because the astrology is no longer exact. But here's the thing to understand about astrology and life and politics—it's kind of all the same thing. It's, while things are developing, while the transit is exact, while the lessons are what we're meant to be focused on—it's where our attention is being drawn—things don't look the same as they do once that phase of development is completed.
So, whether it's about results or consequences, causality—whatever it is, what's important to know is that by the time the results are at their most obvious, at the time that let's say consuming misinformation or disinformation has its strongest hold on a psyche, by the time that a nation is in a state of collapse or you're dealing with the consequences of not having the right kind of structure in your life or in your psyche—once those things are really clear, you know shit has been well on its way for a very long time. Astrology—it's a predictive tool, right? But it's also an interpretive one. You can use astrology to absolve yourself of trying, to explain things away, or you can use it to direct yourself to use your energies more productively, to align with the flow of the river instead of fighting the current of the river. And most of us—we do both. Some of us do a lot more of one than the other, but most of us do both.
I'm trying to get at a couple really important points here. One is that, for a lot of people, unless they're dealing with consequences, they don't really believe in the lesson. I mean, I think probably for all of us, in some situations or another, that's true. But certainly, when it comes to social and political conditions, that's how a lot of people are. But the truth is things take a long time to develop. Now, of course, there are random, sudden, and intense things that occur in your life, inside of you, and in the world, but major change, substantial, sustainable, and sustained change, happens over the course of time. It happens not just with a single action or with actions that are kind of random and unconnected to other things; instead, the way it happens is through patterns.
So, on a very personal level, that looks like your coping mechanisms, your patterns around how you relate to your emotions, about how you engage with defensiveness or joy or impatience or whatever else. And then, on a political level, it's how you engage with the world. It's what you believe about the world and why. It's what you center in your values. It's all that kind of important stuff. And here's the thing. We're all here for astrology. And as I said, astrology is an interpretive and also predictive tool. And whether we're talking about astrology or economics or social conditions—whatever—nobody knows exactly what's going to happen. Nobody knows exactly what's going to happen.
Listen. Let's say a person's predictions are accurate 100 percent of the time. We cannot know that those predictions are accurate until we have retrospect, until the thing has already been said and done. Because of this, you and me and everyone else—we are accountable to the present. We are accountable to this moment. That's hard, right? We often want to look forward and know what's going to happen as a way to reassure ourselves in the present. We want to know what's going to be the outcome as a way to determine, "What should my actions be now?" That's not how life works, and I say that as a professional psychic and astrologer with a really great accuracy rate. That's still not how life works.
It's important that you do not give your power away by believing any person who tells you that there's only one way for things to go from here, by not staying present in this moment with what is active and alive in the world, in your life, and inside of you. We write the story of what this world is. You are a co-author of what comes next, and you co-author what comes next with your actions. This is a group project. This world that we live in is a group project, and what you do or do not do is your contribution to the co-authorship of this story.
Now, as an astrologer, but also as a person who consumes a good deal of news and who has some understanding of history, is that things are going to get much worse before they get better. And when social and political and economic conditions worsen, it brings with it human suffering. We need change, and we need change on so many levels. And that requires that we don't only change the world, but we change ourselves; we adapt. And that is really hard. It's hard to meet the moment while also feeling your feelings and living your life and dealing with all the things.
There is a brand of astrology called financial astrology. I am not a financial astrologer. That is not my interest at all. But the economy is really important. My primary interest in the economy is how it affects humans. So I don't care about the stock market, personally. I don't. I mean, if you do, fabulous. I personally just don't. I do care about the impact access to resources has on regular people. Here's the thing. The wealthy amongst us—and I don't mean the millionaires. I'm talking about the truly wealthy amongst us—they stand to make a ton of money when the economy collapses. They will not ever experience austerity or hardship economically. That's not their concern. They thrive when we live in an isolationist way. They thrive when we do not come together, when we do not take care of each other.
So I want to invite you over and over and over again to find ways of building together—building community, building resources, sharing your skills, your resources—whatever it is—with others, if you have them to share. This is a period of struggle. And I know a lot of people who are into spirituality and astrology don't like, quote unquote, "low-vibe thinking." They don't like to focus on fears. They don't like to focus on negativity. I am not about that. We cannot manifest or spiritualize our way out of collective conditions. That's not a thing. There is no value in ignoring parts of the human condition and parts of the human struggle. We all have Saturn in our chart. We all have Pluto in our chart. Life is a struggle sometimes. Pretending that that's not the case requires that you stick your head in maybe some pink, sweet-smelling sand, but sand, you see?
I want to invite you to accept that this is the reality we are in, that many things are collapsing. The American empire is collapsing, and it is collapsing upon the shoulders and backs of many people, many people who are not the ones responsible for the empire itself. It is really hard to figure out what the next best steps are. It is hard to accept, to understand, to comprehend the mess that we are in. But these are important parts of the struggle. Not everyone is an organizer. Not everyone is an activist. That's real, and that's okay. But we are living through exceptional times, like exceptional times, and they are getting worse before they get better. And we must find ways of participating with our actions—not just our thoughts, with our actions—to co-create and participate in community that is based in care and honesty and humanity.
If you're good with human suffering because of where someone's born, the color of their skin, their gender, their race, their political affiliations, then that's like a burden for your soul to hold. That is something that you will, from my spiritual viewpoint, spent a lot of energy and potentially time working out in this life or beyond. The truth is it is fucking terrifying to stare down the barrel of a gun and not know when it'll go off, how it'll go off, if it'll go off, and, if it goes off, whether or not it'll hit you. That's where we are. Between social and political conditions, the climate crisis, it is a terrifying time. And if it feels terrible to you, that's because it is terrible.
And it's okay to touch a hot stove and then burn your hand and be like, "Oh shit. That feels bad. Now I have to tend to this burn." I want to validate that it's okay that it feels bad. It is bad. But you don't want to let your fears turn you away from your integrity and your humanity. And it's tempting. For a lot of people, it's easier to focus on, "What's wrong with this group of people?" instead of, "Okay. What are we going to do about it?" We must accept where we are. We must accept it and face it so we can fight it. There are no easy answers. There's no way out of this timeline. This is the timeline. And listen. I'm into some quantum healing shit. I'm into working within timelines on a spiritual level. But on the material level, this is it, my friends. We are where we are where we are, and we must accept it, and we must not allow it to twist up our souls.
And it is important that I affirm that doing nothing, doing nothing in the presence of cruelty, abuse, and evil, is taking the side of those who are perpetrating cruelty, abuse, and evil. Doing nothing is an action, and it takes a force of will and intention. This is a time to do your best to maintain your mental health. And I know that's fucking hard because this is a challenging time. But finding ways of accessing calm and self-reliance within a frightening time—if the only way you know how to do it is to stay uninformed or to maintain your own individual security, then you're going to find that it either really doesn't work or it fucks with your soul.
The house is on fire. Our house is on fire, and ignoring it, trying to avoid fighting the fire—it's not the assignment. This is a time when it's important to access your ability to be calm, to be present, and to stay checked in. These things are foundational to having the willingness and the ability to sustain the road ahead and to be a part of the world's much-needed solutions. They're also foundational for you to be able to navigate your mental health in a way that doesn't require you to become escapist or to tap into toxic individualism.
The astrology of these times, of this time, is fast-moving and wild. This is happening on the foundation of the astrology and the times of recent years. I don't know why, but for whatever reason, you are here now. I am here now. We are here now. And that means our assignment is to participate in these times. And for some people, it's just about surviving; it's just about making it through the day, but not for everybody, and certainly not for everybody who chooses to opt out.
I don't have easy answers for you. I don't have a five-step playbook for you. But I do want to encourage you to find the willingness inside of you to adopt a sustainable and heart-led practice of staying engaged with the world around you. Don't just fight against; fight for. As I've said many, many times on the podcast, when hatred and anger is your sole or primary motivation, it burns you up. It's not sustainable. There's lots of things to be angry about. There's a lot of things to hate. I am not saying don't feel anger, and I'm not saying that there's something wrong with letting anger motivate you. Anger is motivating.
But to be clear about what you love, to be clear about what you choose, what you want to see grow, what you want to nurture and protect—that is a more sustainable motivation, and it also requires more self-awareness, more emotional intelligence, and, connected to those things, it demands that you're in greater contact with your heart. And within your heart lives grief and fear and anger and love and joy and all the things. It's all the things. It's not just the positives.
And what happens for a lot of people is that if you don't have the ability or the willingness to feel those harder emotions, those more challenging emotions, then we just shut the whole tap off. But everything comes out of the tap. So, again, I want to invite you to center what you love, knowing that that means that you will feel both love and every other emotion. Love is the most sustainable and effective motivation that you can adopt when fighting tyranny and fascism. That's why every tyrannical and fascist regime across time is motivated by hatred and by separating people from each other, pointing the finger at different groups, and creating austerity, because austerity creates fear, and when people are in a state of fear, they're more likely to point fingers at others and be motivated by our more challenging emotions instead of by love and care.
Now, we've got a lot to talk about astrologically, so I'm going to wrap it up. But before I do, I want to invite you to join me over on Patreon at the paid level, but also, you can join me for free. Just become a free member. I'm posting more and more to that platform about political stuff, spiritual stuff, all that kind of stuff. And what I'm really enjoying about it, which is very different from social media—for me, anyways—is I can post more long-form content. I've been going live and been able to share information while also chatting with folks live, which has been amazing. So you can join me over at patreon.com/jessicalanyadoo. It's always linked in the episode description. It's my happy place on the internet, and it's a place where I do a lot of sharing. So, again, join me there and connect with other members of the community in having some really important conversations about what we're going through and how to best cope.
All right. All that said, let's get into this week's astrology. So we are looking at the astrology of April 6th through the 12th of 2025. I am recording this on the 5th at the start of the day, so the daylong, massive nationwide protests on the 5th of April are still unfolding very much as I record this. But luckily, there are two exact transits happening on the 6th that are going to be deeply felt on the 5th as well. We have a Sun sextile to Jupiter and a Venus trine to Mars. And so my greatest hope and expectation is that these protests were well intended and really powerful because this astrology is supportive to both of those things. So let me tell you about it.
On Sunday, the 6th, at 2:44 a.m., the Sun will be at 16 degrees and 51 minutes of Aries, forming a sextile to Jupiter at the same degrees of Gemini. Later that morning, at 5:13 a.m. Pacific Time, Venus will be at 25 degrees Pisces and 29 minutes, and of course, Venus is Retrograde, forming a trine to Mars at the same degrees of Cancer. These transits were both very felt on the 5th, just for the record.
So okay. Sun sextile to Jupiter—this is a really wonderful transit because it can connect you with hope. It can connect you with a sense of resiliency, optimism, faith. It can make you feel like you are getting things done, like you are capable of getting things done, and it can make you feel happy. Venus trine Mars also can bring about happiness in a different way. The Sun sextile to Jupiter is a great time for putting yourself out there, connecting with others, striving towards your ideals and your goals. It is a transit that can generate positivity and, again, in the form of hope and optimism and the cultivation of a vision of what could be.
This transit is really life-affirming. It's a great time for connecting with others, for connecting with your own vision for how things can be, for cultivating your health—your physical health, your mental health, all that kind of good stuff. This is a growth-oriented transit. And so, whatever it is that you want to see grow, this transit says feed it, feed it, feed it. Put your energy towards connection, coalition, the building of opportunities, like trying to build things for yourself, in yourself, or in the world, or by seizing on opportunities. And an especially positive thing about this transit overlapping with the April 5th protests is it's a good time for gathering together in groups. This is a particularly powerful transit for working well with groups of people who are diverse and different from each other, and that is a really powerful thing.
Now, the Venus trine to Mars that overlaps so tightly with this Sun sextile to Jupiter is one of those transits that happens pretty routinely, and it is all about social and interpersonal connection. Venus—and of course, Venus is Retrograde here, right? But Venus is all about diplomacy, compromise, getting along with others, connecting with others based on shared values, and Mars is motivating. It's getting shit done. It's passion. It's sticking to your own principles and ambitions.
When these two planets form a trine, which is a 120-degree aspect—and if you're curious more about aspects, I, a couple of years ago, did a series here on Ghost of a Podcast called The Hot Takes, in which I talked about aspects natally, transits, all that kind of good stuff. So you can always search them in my feed or whatever.
So this aspect of a trine between Venus and Mars makes it easier to get along with others, to be motivated to connect with others, and to work well with them. This can be a great time for flirting and generally having fun, for connecting with people based on your passions and your values, and also just for being creative, for making art, for being inspired by people and what they're doing and how they're doing it. The combination of these two transits is really lovely—like no negatives, no notes. It is really lovely. And so you want to do your best to engage with these energies.
As you've heard me say many times before—but always bears repeating—those easy, positive transits that happen, like these two—they don't force your hand. You don't need to tap into these energies. But if you do, if you make an effort to tap into these energies, then they're right there for you. So there's greater flow and ease in your efforts, and that is worth its weight in gold.
That brings us to Monday. Monday, April the 7th, we have not one but three meaningful transits. At 4:01 a.m. Pacific Time, Venus will be at 25 degrees of Pisces and 15 minutes, and guess what: so will Saturn. Now, this is really an important transit. Venus Retrograde conjoined Saturn—a lot to say about it. Seven minutes later, at 4:08 a.m., Mercury goes direct at 26 degrees of Pisces and 49 minutes. This is fantastic. So I will spare words to both of these transits in a moment; don't you worry. Then, later that night, 9:48 p.m. Pacific Time, Venus Retrograde will be at 25 degrees and six minutes of Pisces, and it will form an exact sextile to Uranus at the same degrees of Taurus. We have our Venus Retrograde being very active, and we have Mercury going direct. Let's talk about it.
Let's start, actually, with the Mercury station direct. When Mercury goes station direct, what we have is the end of the Retrograde, to which I always say huzzah. That means miscommunications, technical difficulties, misunderstandings—they are all likely to recede into your memories. Beautiful. This is a time where plans and communications are more likely to be effective—again, wonderful. But we remain in a Retroshade, and that Retroshade is when Mercury, now moving forward in a kind of normal way that it's supposed to move, moves through the degrees that it traveled during the Retrograde. That's our Retroshade.
And in this period, we often deal with consequences to what did or didn't happen during the Retrograde. More directly put, it's like, okay, decisions you made during the Retrograde, now you have to kind of deal with the consequences of that. You may have friend stuff come back up from your Retrograde experience, that kind of stuff. We don't have another Mercury Retrograde until July.
So that brings us to the two transits from Venus Retrograde. Now, the first one is that conjunction to Saturn. This transit is a rough one, if you ask me. Venus and Saturn are both really concerned with security and stability. These two planets can have us focused on our own individual security and stability, so much so that we become scarcity-focused. We become lonely. We become fearful. Sometimes that's appropriate to your situation, but most of the time, the reason why we feel like this during a Venus conjunction to Saturn is because of difficulty in tolerating Saturnian emotions. And Saturnian emotions are really connected to that existential loneliness that is inherent to the human condition. Now, some people don't know how to live outside of that existential loneliness. Other people only feel it when transits or circumstances come around and kind of shove it in their face. And then there's the rest of us, who are somewhere in the middle.
This transit is an important moment in the Venus Retrograde cycle. We actually just felt this transit back on January 18th. We're going to feel it again on April 24th. This is part of the Retrograde cycle of Venus, and it is requiring that you check in with some really important stuff. One thing is your relationship to your values. If you're not living in accordance with your values in practical terms, you are more likely to feel guilt or heaviness, a sense of fear of failure. Those are just heavy Saturn vibes. If you are connected to people but your relationships aren't predicated on authenticity—like you're not really yourself with those people, or they don't really get you—you're more likely to feel lonely. You're more likely to feel isolated, even if you're surrounded by a group of people, if you don't feel connected.
When Saturn is so heavily involved with Venus, things get heavy. And that heaviness is not inherently a bad thing, but it makes it so that if you have flimsy connections to yourself, to others, to your values, then things feel weak. You can feel week. And again, weak is not a bad or a good thing. It's just a challenging feeling, isn't it? A lot of times, under this influence, folks will be defensive, shut down, insecure, all these kinds of emotional and psychological responses to fear, loneliness, insecurity. And certainly, this transit can trigger major self-worth issues, either around the way you look, the way you think other people feel or think about the way you look, your values, the death of your connections—all that kind of shit.
Venus conjunction to Saturn can also be related to economic problems—that can either be personal or in the collective—where there's real austerity, a real lack that must be dealt with. If this transit is hitting your chart really directly, depending on what it's hitting, it could coincide with consequences for overspending. And this could be around finances. It could also be overspending your energy on a relationship that doesn't have a high rate of return, if you will.
This transit represents an important check-in with your relationship to your values and authenticity. And I want to encourage you to show up for it. It's easier to just be kind of caught in a Saturnian, heavy-ass sea of emotions where you're just like—go full Eeyore, you know? But this isn't the time to stare at your navel, losing yourself in Eeyore vibes. I mean, whatever. You go for it if that's what you want to do.
But there's a utility to this transit, and that utility is so that you get real about what you're feeling, what you're doing, your connections, how you're showing up for them, how others are showing up for them. Get real about the themes that have been active in your life since January, the last time this transit occurred. And know that it's coming back for you on the 24th. So whatever it is that goes on inside of you or in the world on or around this date is part of a larger cycle, and it requires or invites your agency, your engagement, your intentionality.
Now, luckily, overlapping with this transit, we have that Venus sextile to Uranus. That transit is really lovely. So Venus sextile to Uranus on its own is a great time for connecting with other people. It's a good time for your relationships, for—if we're leaning into that Venus Retrograde vibe—investigating your values, investigating your friendships, your love connections, and doing it in a really creative, fun way. This transit is fun for playing with aesthetics, playing with art, playing with people, just having a good time. But it is happening at the same time as a Venus conjunction to Saturn in Pisces, which is soupy and heavy and inclined to make a person feel just the weight of the world.
And so, in this context, Venus Retrograde sextile to Uranus is a spark of inspiration. It's the willingness and incentive to come at things from a different perspective, to try things in new ways, to explore possibility when probability has got you down. This transit in context of the other transit is a great one for better understanding your own patterns and sidestepping the ones that don't really work for you. If you're feeling funky in a relationship, just talk to the person. Don't do your pattern. Don't do the thing you always do that consistently doesn't work. Try a new approach. That's what Venus sextile to Uranus is helpful for. It's a great time to be inquisitive and to be open to other people and to change, to growth. So this transit suggests that we will be able to make the most of the Venus conjunction to Saturn, which I'm really happy to see.
Now, that's the last exact transit from Venus Retrograde before it goes direct. And it goes direct on the 12th. So, this week, we have a massive shift in energy. Mercury goes direct. Venus goes direct at 6:02 a.m. Pacific Time on Saturday, April 12th. And we also have a Full Moon in Libra on Saturday, April 12th. This is the final coffin of Eclipse Season vibes. We are not in Eclipse Season at all come this Full Moon. But the Full Moon is in Libra, which is governed by Venus, and that Moon is full before Venus goes direct. So we're still under the influence of a Venus Retrograde for the Full Moon.
We also have a Sun conjunction to Chiron on this day at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time. That will be with the Sun at 22 degrees of Aries and 59 minutes and Chiron in the exact same place. That's a conjunction for you. So there's a lot to talk about here, but again, before I get into specifics, I want to take a moment to acknowledge this massive shift in energy. As I have said several times in many different ways, after March of 2025, things start moving fast. Now that we see these two Retrogrades being over, again, we can expect things to start moving more quickly. That's not inherently good or bad. It's simply a shift in energy. And energy is meant to move.
So I want to invite you, if you fuck with the woo enough to do so, to try to notice the energy this week, and in the coming weeks, to tap in and see if things feel different and in what ways they feel different. Slowing down to notice how the energy feels inside of you and in the world at-large is really useful because being tapped in is a great resource for navigating your own wellness, your goals, your needs, your relationships, and the world around you.
Okay. Now, let's go back to Saturday, the 12th. First things first, we have that Sun conjunction to Chiron. And this transit is a really big deal. The Sun is your identity and your sense of self, and you know Chiron; it's all about wounding. This transit can kick up some pretty intense unresolved issues—issues related to your identity, your sense of self, your vital energies, whether it's your psychology or your physiology, your sense of resiliency. This transit can kick up trauma, basically, and beliefs that you hold about yourself that come from trauma, that come from core wounding. And this may hit you on any number of levels, of course.
The thing about traumatic experiences and your core wounding is that, obviously, it sucks, right? It is not awesome to have painful experiences and to have trauma responses that become a part of your nature. And also, some of the things that happen inside of a human in response to trauma end up being your greatest strengths. They end up proving to you that you can withstand, survive, and even thrive in response to adversity.
And so, when the Sun sits on top of Chiron in Aries, you are being invited—I mean, the truth is you're not being invited. It's more of a demand. Let's be real. But you are being invited to show up, to be embodied, to tap into your agency, your sense of self, your will, to engage with things that are hard, old beliefs or patterns that have you twisted up. This is a time for rising to the damn occasion, and that is a beautiful thing. It's a beautiful thing. It's also a challenging thing.
Now, this Sun conjunction to Chiron is not just about the Sun conjunction to Chiron. It's the closest aspect in the Full Moon chart. So, again, April 12th, 5:22 p.m. Pacific Time, we have this Full Moon in Libra. And in it, the Sun and Chiron are 19 minutes apart. That means that Chiron is only 19 minutes from exactitude with its opposition to the Moon. And all three of these players are forming a square to Mars. That is a wider aspect, but it is an aspect.
There's a lot of things to say about this Full Moon, but I want to start with this. It's a lot of fucking Aries. It's a lot of Chiron. And Full Moons always kick up the emotions. This is why so many people are so focused on Full Moons, is because they're so evidential. You can really feel a Full Moon. It brings up whatever emotions you've been repressing over the course of the last month or many months, and it brings it up in your reactions, responses, and emotions. This is why shit gets dramatic, because most of the time, most of us are busy repressing or disconnecting from our feelings, and then a Full Moon comes up, and you can't quite contain it anymore.
The tension between the Moon in Libra and the Sun in Aries is so much about the tension between going it alone and collaborating with others, centering your preferences and your needs and centering the preferences and needs of others. It's staying true to who you are. It's staying embodied versus getting codependent or centering other people's perspectives over your own inner knowing. And with Chiron in the mix, shit gets more complicated because of how Chiron is kind of the source of our core wounds, and the core wounds that we don't—we don't shed them, per se; we just evolve our relationship to them over time. We integrate their lessons and make the most of them. That's the nature of Chironic energy.
And this particular Full Moon in Libra opposite to Chiron in Aries and the Sun in Aries—of course, Aries is ruled by Mars, but all three of these bad boys focus on Mars. We know there is the imperative for emotional and moral courage. Mars has so much to do with mobilization and action. And the courage that we need to meet this moment is very fucking real. And luckily, there is a Jupiter sextile to the Sun, Chiron, and Moon that is active in this chart to help you to want to rise to the occasion and to help you to make connections, to grow.
This Full Moon may be asking you to take up more space in your own life, to be more embodied, to release the beliefs, the behaviors, or the relationships that are a reflection of low self-worth, that are not a reflection of authenticity and love, whether it's self-love, love of others, connection with your values. When you are aligned with what is authentic to you, you have more access to your life force energies. And that is really valuable and important.
Full Moons are always an invitation to release, to let go. And so this is a great time to consider what patterns, what beliefs, even what relationships, do you need to let go of, would you be better for letting go of? Sometimes that looks like—I don't know, like ending a relationship. But sometimes it looks like shifting your expectations of another person, shifting what you are offering to another person.
We want to keep in mind that Venus and Saturn are still quite close to each other. In fact, Venus, Saturn, North Node, Mercury, and Neptune are all quite close to each other. And this configuration of planets brings with it the opportunity to be better accountable to what is authentic, to what is true, to better participate in material ways so that you may build towards what you aspire to. And within this, it is worth naming that perfectionism has no place in any of this. Progress, no matter how small or how big, is progress. And the more you develop the willingness and the habits around validating and celebrating even the smallest bits of progress, the easier it will be to sustain the path.
Now, there is this larger theme that's happening in the world of Mars opposite Pluto. Pluto is not really involved in this Full Moon, so don't worry about that. But Mars opposite Pluto and Mars square to Chiron—those are some larger transits that are active at this time. And so there is always the risk of Tower card energy. You know what I mean. There's, at this time, a meaningful risk of violent energy, of things getting catastrophic, of things getting dramatic and impassioned, and for things to even be violent. And so I want to encourage you to proceed with caution, to be brave but not foolhardy, to be honest with yourself about the energy with which you are doing things or not doing things, because your motivations, your energy, is a part of you, and it has an impact.
So many times, we lie to ourselves. We lie to ourselves about how we feel and what's motivating us. This is a time to be accountable to your energy. And on a social level, on a political level, things are fucking unpredictable and scary. And so how you relate to your own feelings, to your own needs around not being safe, things not being predictable, is going to be activated. And truthfully, unless you have a trauma history, you are unlikely to have great tools established for that shit. And if you do have a trauma history, then yeah, your wounds from that trauma are deeply connected to your coping skills. Again, the struggle—it's life. Denying that it's happening doesn't really help.
This Full Moon can reveal a great deal to you about how you do or don't live in alignment with what you believe, how you do or don't embody your own energies, your access to your body, being present in it, to your self-worth. This is a big Full Moon, and it is happening at a moment that is giving crossroads. And so I invite you to rise to the occasion, whatever that means. You may be feeling called to deal with things in a very personal, very private way. You may be feeling called to show up with and for the world, and I of course hope that, at least in part, that is what's happening for you. You may be feeling really defensive with people. You may be feeling like you don't have control. You may be feeling like you're grasping at straws and just having a really hard time figuring out how to gain purchase in your life, how to gain control, how to gain a sense of your center.
Whatever it is you're feeling, if it's messy, if it's fucked up, if it feels crystal-clear, if you're like, "Okay. I'm ready for this moment, and I'm showing up for it"—anything in between—whatever it is, I want to invite you to take a moment to feel your feelings, to acknowledge the realities that you find yourself in, to acknowledge where you're starting from. Fuck the judgments you've got. Fuck the narrative. Just tap into where you're starting from, and breathe into it. Receive it. Don't abandon or intellectualize or repress your emotions. Take a moment to just feel into your energy body, your emotional body, your physical body, in the here and now because awareness empowers you to make better choices, to be better resourced, to show up for yourself and to work better with others. And that, my friends, is what it is all about.
Now, listen. People may be acting a fool this Full Moon. You may have major relationship issues come up, and you may not, but it's a Libra Full Moon, so you may. In that case, do not let anger or defensiveness drive you. If you catch yourself behaving or feeling very defensive or enraged, I want to encourage you to acknowledge whatever is happening and tell the person that you cannot be accountable to what you say or do, and so can we return to this later? Ideally, 48 to 72 hours after the Full Moon.
You might not be able to stop relationship issues from bubbling to the surface, and maybe you shouldn't try, just as long as you can participate in ways that reflect what is authentic to you, what you believe, and what you're willing to back up with your actions instead of just your defenses or your insecurities and your trauma.
Now, for those of you who have listened to my month-ahead forecast, you know that around the 19th of this month, which is rapidly approaching, things start to get really fucking intense. And so, to me, that means this Full Moon is an especially instructive and useful transit to tap in and tune up around. Show up. Just show up. Show up for whatever is real. It will make it so much easier to engage with whatever comes next, whether it's challenging or absolutely lovely or anything in between.
Now, let me run through these transits one more time for you and also remind you that the transcript for this episode will be available in full on my website within about 24 hours because, here at Ghost of a Podcast Industries, we do not use AI-generated transcripts. So, on the 6th of April, the Sun forms an exact sextile to Jupiter, and Venus Retrograde forms a trine to Mars. The following day, on the 7th, Mercury goes direct, Venus Retrograde sits on top of Saturn, and Venus Retrograde forms a lovely sextile to Uranus. Finally, on the 12th, the Sun forms an exact conjunction to Chiron, swiftly followed by a Full Moon in Libra that is very Chironic, and Venus goes direct.
